The seventh generation of Volkswagen Golf is already sold in the world’s markets, but the debut of the rest of the models will have to wait. Today our photographers-spions have tracked Golf R.
Volkswagen engineers are coming to the end of the test tests of a high -performance hatchback, which will most likely be shown to the world in September at a car dealership in Frankfurt.
We could already see a large number of espionage pictures of the car, which has a polo -polishing of the body, but now we have a photo of a less disguised prototype. We can say with the confidence that the new generation of Golf R will be as hardcore as its predecessor.
According to the latest rumors, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with turbocharged and direct injection will be offered for Golf R. Its power will be as a minimum of 20 “horses” more compared to the sixth generation of the 256-horsepower Golf.
A six -speed manual gearbox will be offered as a base, and for a separate surcharge it will be possible to order a robotic DSG with double clutch.
