While the attention of the leading automobile publications of the world is riveted to the 82nd International Autosalon in Geneva, BMW continues to test the new generation of M3 sedan sedan. Our photographers once again discovered a car in Sweden.
Earlier we already wrote that the car will most likely receive a new 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which is currently under development.
However, today the source close to the leadership of the Bavarian automaker managed to find out that the new M3 will nevertheless be equipped with a new 3.3-liter six-cylinder engine with a system of three turbines. The power of this power unit will be 450 horsepower, and the acceleration time to 100 km/h about 4.5 seconds.
Already now we can see that the novelty has a more aggressive and complete design than the predecessor.
Recall that the debit of a new generation of the BMW M3 should take place in 2013. The sedan will be the first to debut. The appearance of coupe and convertible will take place a little later, but already under the marking of 4-Series.
