Our photographers-spions began to hunt for the new auto world in the circles of Nurgurgring. One of the first in lenses was the new Maserati Quattroporte, which took place high -speed tests on the famous loop.
The prototype, under the code name M156, is still hidden under thick panels that do not allow to evaluate the exterior design. The new quattroporte generation will be a sports four -door compartment similar to Mercedes CLS, Audi A7 Sportback and Porsche Panamera. The dimensions of the new car will increase in size compared to the current version, which is allowed to expand the model range of the Baby-Quattroporte model.
The novelty will be equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 engine with a capacity of about 475 liters.With. (354 kW / 469 l.With.), working in pairs with an eight -speed automatic gearbox.
For the new Quattroporte, Maserati engineers have developed a new platform made of light materials.
We assume that the new generation of Maserati Quattroporte will be presented in early 2013, and sales will begin in the summer.
